A working family ranch in Meadows Valley, right on US‑95. If you're hauling horses up or down the highway, this is somewhere to get them out of the trailer, onto real grass, and under open sky — for a night or for a month.

Pasture, not a pen

One acre up to sixty.Turnout sized to what you're hauling — a single horse or a full load.

Hand them off, get some sleep, and we'll see to feed and water while you're here.

You feed and water

Bring your own feed and keep your own routine. Plenty of folks would rather do it themselves.

Rigs & trailers

Room to park and turn around

Big rig parking.Space to get a long trailer in — and back out again without a three-point turn.
Horse trailer parking.Leave it hitched or drop it, whichever suits.
Electrical and water hookups.If you'd rather stay with your horses, you can stay with your rig.
Open as long as the weather allows.Spring through fall, no problem. In a heavy winter we don't plow the corrals and chute, so call and we'll tell you straight whether we can take you.

You're sharing the valley

Elk work the fence lines through the fall and winter, and the river bottom stays busy with geese. If you're passing through to hunt, you already know what this country holds.

Pasture-raised eggs

Our hens range on the same grass the horses do — and roost wherever they please. Eggs are usually available at the ranch year-round, winter included. Ask when you pull in, or call ahead if you'd like a few dozen set aside.

The goats and the llama come with the place, more or less, and they keep the brush down. Kids traveling with you will find them first.
